We received excellent personal service throughout the application process to closing. Al kept us updated on the progress of our application, secured a great interest rate for us, and worked with the seller's real estate agent to answer questions and keep us on target for our closing date. We had a very tight timeline from application to closing nd Al exceeded our expectations. -Gary and Mary

Lisa Bauer was awesome to deal with. She put a lot of herself into the deal by making time to explain the little things when the internet was vague, so we could close quickly. We were able to close under terms that everyone was happy with. - Dale and Ruth

In a recent article published in the National Mortgage News, writer Brad Finkelstein discussed how appraisals are not keeping up with the rising home prices nationally, making it harder for some sellers.

According to Finkelstein, the home sales failure rate was 6.3% in 2016, up from 3.4% the prior year. While it would be easy to blame appraisers for being too conservative in their valuations, Finkelstein notes the lack inventory as the main reason home prices remain elevated.
